Sampleroom is a visual product database surrounded by a collection of extraordinarily easy to use range visualisation tools that make light work of building and presenting compelling and coordinated product ranges.

Whilst there is nothing as good as using actual product samples during the range building process, havng all of the samples available all of the time is a very rare luxury. Sampleroom has been designed to overcome this problem by providing a visual database and software tools that make it easy to visualise the whole collection at any time.

The database holds garment sketches and photos together with all of the data you need to completely define a product. The data can be keyed in or automatically imported from line plan spreadsheets or product databases and provides powerful search and filtering capabilities.

Illustrated below are the visual database browsing, interactive visual analysis, visual reporting and storyboarding tools that make it easy to see, analyse and present your ideas and product ranges.

  
 
 
  Accessing and browsing the database
 		    
 

The entire product range is stored in the Sampleroom database and is accessed by a very powerful but very easy to use database browser. The range browser can be grouped by any combination of key fields such as; price, colour, status, supplier.

The range can also be filtered by any collection of attributes. e.g Only show sleaveless tops due in week 26.

   
 
  Automated data import and image processing
 		    
 

Sampleroom has a very powerful import tool for uploading product data from spreadsheets and databases. Product images, either sketches or photos, are automatically processed in to properly scaled garments complete with transparent backgrounds

    
 
       
 
  Analysing the range – visually
 		    
 

Sampleroom's powerful visual analysis tool provides the ability to view the range by any two attributes. e.g. Sub class by store grade as illustrated in the picture to the left.

Unlike slicing and dicing databases and spreadsheets and having to interpret the numbers, Sampleroom's visual analysis tool delivers the ability to see instantly if there are gaps or a lack of balance in the range.

    
 
  Brain storm and present your range ideas with storyboard
 		    
 

Sampleroom's storyboard is the ideal tool for brainstorming and presenting ideas. Storyboard uses the same garments as Mockshop which means they all have transparent backgrounds and they are all at the same scale. Perfect for building wardrobe ideas and presenting at range review meetings.

Storyboard's garment images and data labels are fed directly from the database which update automatically.

   
 
     
     
 
  Publish range books directly with the built in visual reporting tool
 		    
 

Many of our clients use Sampleroom's visual reporting tool to generate their range books. Unlike traditional page layout tools that require manual keying and updating of data, Sampleroom's reports are always up to date because the data is pulled directly from the database.

As a result, range books can be produced in minutes without needing to worry about the data being up to date .
